Stage By Stage Youth Theatre is now entering it's 10th year, it is a group for talented performers age 14 - 19, and entrance is by audition only. It offers a professional working environment, where young people work as a company, whilst receiving a high level of training in all disciplines of musical theatre from experienced professionals.
The Youth Theatre is structured to accommodate the academic year and the pressure of exams. Therefore students work on a well-known musical from September - March, culminating in a performance run in a theatre with professional technicians and a live band. The remaining term works towards smaller showcase and offers support and coaching for drama school auditions.

Previous shows have included Les Miserables (The Shoestring Theatre), Chicago, A Chorus Line (The Cockpit Theatre), Bye Bye Birdie(The Polka Theatre), Stepping Out (The Lost Theatre), The Wiz (The Polka Theatre) Legally Blonde, Urine Town (The Shoestring Theatre) and Annie (The Colour House Theatre).
